The following letter was written by the family of a patient at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center:

Emergency Room Staff,
Our daughter was involved in a bus/truck accident on I-74. Our daughter was transported to OSF St. Joseph and we met her there. We just wanted to say thank you to all of the staff in the emergency room for helping our daughter, as well as her teammates. They were all shook up and you guys did a great job keeping things calm and checking on the injuries. I am embarrassed to say that I can’t remember any of your names, but I'm sure if I met you again, I would remember your faces. You were all so kind! Thanks again for all you did for us that day.
